The experience of calligraphy is about moving through space and leaving tracks behind. The brush is the most sensitive of calligraphic tools, able to respond to the subtlest gesture. We will explore the principles of heaven, earth, and human working with big brushes,  buckets of ink and spontaneous strokes. This dynamic conversation between form and looseness dispels creative blocks, enhances works in progress and inspires new ideas. An interest in visual language and movement is the only prerequisite.
